As a Regional Commercial Head – Infrastructure & Energy  (Protective Coatings) you will be accountable for shaping and executing the regional commercial strategy, defining the roadmap and driving sustainable business growth across Teknos key Eastern European markets (Baltics, Poland, Ukraine and Balkans, with further expansion ahead).

You will lead the full commercial performance of the region, owning revenue, growth, margin and profitability, playing a key role in translating the global Infrastructure & Energy strategy into regional execution, ensuring strong alignment, clear prioritisation and effective resource allocation.

You will also lead, inspire and develop a high-performing regional sales team, building a strong performance culture and strengthening capabilities to support long-term growth in the region.

This role is based in Poland and involves regular travel within the region to support customers, teams and strategic initiatives, thus you should be ready to travel frequently within given territory.Are you an experienced commercial leader looking for your next international challenge? Daily tasks and responsibilities:

  • Own and drive regional Infrastructure and Energy unit sales growth, margin and profitability in line with global and regional targets
  • Shape and execute the regional commercial strategy and roadmap, including the successful rollout of new products and services, translating global direction into local market impact
  • Lead regional commercial team, fostering a balanced growth and hunter culture, ensuring motivation, consistent competencies development and focus
  • Identify, develop and convert new business and market development opportunities across the region
  • Lead opportunity pipeline management, customer risk management and sales forecasting
  • Drive pricing, contracting, owning regional sales budgeting and performance monitoring
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, R&D, operations and technical services
  • Oversee regional technical service operations and training hubs
  • Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to support global strategic decisions
  • As a member of the global Infrastructure & Energy team, provide alignment with other regional teams and global initiatives

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Several years of experience in senior commercial roles, preferably within a B2B industrial or technical environment
  • Proven experience in project-based sales, ideally within investment or large-scale infrastructure projects; industry-related expertise and knowledge of infrastructure, construction and/or energy related norms and industry standards will be an asset but is not a key requirement
  • Solid understanding of managing complex, cross- country projects
  • A seasoned people leader, providing guidance, motivating, coaching and developing sales teams
  • Proficient in sales and budget management, with a robust understanding of commercial strategy planning
  • Business development drive with a hands-on attitude and direct involvement in sales activities
  • Excellent communication and presentations skills combined with international mindset and a keen understanding of cultural differences
  • Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting and commercial results ownership
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and data-driven decision making
  • Excellent communication skills in Polish and English, both written and verbal
  • Willingness to travel as required within the region
