As Teknos continues to strengthen its operations, we are opening two new leadership opportunities for Internal Logistics & Warehousing Managers. These roles are central to ensuring efficient, safe, and forward-looking logistics operations in each region, while contributing to Teknos’ global strategy and long-term development.
About the Role
As Internal Logistics & Warehousing Manager, you will be responsible for leading local warehouse supervisors and teams, overseeing in-house logistics, and ensuring the smooth flow of materials. You will manage local contracts, domestic transport, and warehouse service providers, while also planning and executing both short- and long-term logistics development initiatives.
This role combines strategic planning, budget management, and daily operational leadership. You will drive competence building, team development, safety, and efficiency, while ensuring Teknos remains compliant with local regulations and group-level policies.
In this role, you will work closely with indirect sourcing, finance, and regional colleagues to ensure alignment and collaboration across regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and monitor workload, workforce needs, and team competence development
- Ensure occupational safety, safe working methods, and proper use of equipment
- Ensure optimal use of warehouse space and adherence to FIFO principles
- Oversee local forklift policies
- Plan and follow budgets, report deviations, and identify short- and long-term investment needs
- Manage local contracts, domestic transport agreements, and supplier relationships (together with indirect sourcing)
- Oversee inventory counting, audits, and compliance with local customs and authority requirements
- Drive continuous development and contribute to group-level logistics projects
- Recruit, onboard, and develop warehouse operators
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in in-house logistics management and material flow management
- Strong people leadership skills with experience in team development and supervision
- Competence in budgeting, long-term planning, and supplier management
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to collaborate across regions and functions
- Fluent English plus local language of the region is mandatory
