HSEQ Manager (M/F/D) Health, Safety, Enviroment & Quality

In this role, you will be responsible for promoting a strong HSEQ culture across Germany. Your key tasks include ensuring compliance with all legal requirements in the areas of Occupational Health and Safety, Environment, and Quality, and maintaining and developing our quality, environmental and occupational health and safety management systems at our German sites (Alzenau, Brüggen, and Fulda). 

 

Your responsibility

  • Health & Safety Management 
    • Promote a strong health, safety, and wellbeing culture through communication, coaching, and supporting employees and managers in implementing Teknos Life Saving Behaviours. 
    • Ensure compliance with local occupational health and safety legal requirements as well as Teknos HSW directives and processes by training employees and managers to raise awareness of health and safety requirements and expectations, setting local annual HSW action plans, coordinating/conducting risk assessments and HSW campaigns and supporting line organization to reduce/eliminate OHS risks (e.g., related to work processes). 
  • Environmental Management 
    • Ensure compliance with local legal requirements as well as Teknos directives and procedures. 
    • Collect and monitor environmental data (water, heating, electricity, waste, etc.) and investigate environmental incidents. 
    • Prepare, update, and monitor local environmental risk assessments. 
  • Quality Management 
    • Take responsibility for the German Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with ISO standards, updating documentation, and training users. 
    • Manage the internal audit process (planning, execution, reporting, training internal auditors) and support customer, product, certification, and cross audits. 

Your profile

  • Successfully completed vocational education with a focus on (safety) technology 
  • Successfully completed training as an occupational safety specialist 
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality Management 
  • Auditor experience / certification (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) 
  • Very good German and good English skills  
  • Willingness to participate in regular training and continuing education (ASiG, BetrSichV, and ArbSchG) 
  • Willingness to travel regularly to our German sites and a valid Class B driver’s license  
  • High motivation to proactively improve working conditions and well-being of employees 
  • Good communication, training and coaching skills to promote HSEQ culture in all levels of organization
