As an eCommerce Specialist you will join Teknos global ICT team and take care of Teknos’ eCommerce and customer portal platform - an important part of our customer service and sales processes, forming a critical component of the customer digital experience. The role will involve managing the overall web platform (webshop, websites, customer portal) and collaborating with key stakeholders to define and drive the future direction of the platform and the broader customer digital experience agenda. As eCommerce Specialist you will also take product ownership of the Production Information Management (PIM) solution, which is used to enrich product data for sharing with customers via web solutions as well as with internal stakeholders.
This role can be based in any of Teknos' European locations, with regular visits to the local office as part of a hybrid work model.
Daily tasks and responsibilities:
eCommerce Product Ownership
- Support and lead future eCommerce roll-outs to countries
- Manage Teknos new (Shopify) eCommerce platform development
- Collaborate closely with marketing department to ensure alignment between Teknos WEB and eCommerce directions
- Build own network related to eCommerce, web and supporting processes/systems within Teknos
- Manage legacy (Optimizely) eCommerce platform to ensure smooth and uninterrupted customer experience until replaced by new solution in all countries
- Lead Teknos Group eCommerce Key user network
New eCommerce development
- Provide guidance around UI design and UX
- Work with business stakeholders to undertake backlog prioritizing and build and manage releases/sprints
- Support definition and documentation of business descriptions, requirements and user stories
- Support IT-vendors during development lifecycle
- Support launch
- Educate and support country key users
PIM Product Owner role
- Manage InRiver PIM (internal and external) solution development, including integrations to other solutions
- Work with relevant business functions in defining direction and needed improvements to maximize value to business
- Sales process coordination
- Work closely with the ICT, Commercial and DCX Business Partners to understand wider sales processes
- Ensure alignment between the web channels and other sales channels
- Have knowledge and provide support for the web platform and ERP order management integration
Key skills and qualifications:
- Several years of relevant experience of working with eCommerce / web platforms
- Proficiency in functional descriptions, feature design, service design
- Experience of working with Shopify, Optimizely (web/legacy Ecommerce platform) and/or IFS (ERP) and/or InRiver PIM platform will be beneficial
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume and deadline driven environment
- Familiarity with agile development methods and tools
- Can-do-attitude and commitment to ongoing self-learning
- Excellent practical English skills
